Rubbermaid chills with DuraChill Coolers
When Rubbermaid created the new line of DuraChill Wheeled 5-Day and 6-Day Coolers, it had consumers’ needs squarely in mind, says Jennifer White Rubbermaid’s Product Manager for Insulated Goods.
“Consumer research identified the top five uses for coolers as picnics, entertaining at home, camping, tailgating and road trips,” says White. All these uses required features such as extended performance, ample storage, ease-of-transportation and ease-of-access. With these needs in mind, DuraChill offers everything you need to keep your cooler contents cold, for a long, long time. Here are some highlights:
Thanks to their extra-thick insulation and precision construction, “DuraChill coolers can keep ice for up to five or six days at 90°F, depending on the model,” says White. That means enhanced food safety and beverages that stay colder longer.
AMPLE STORAGE CAPACITY
Whether you’re treating party guests to chilled drinks in your backyard or hauling barbecue ingredients to a picnic in the park, you’ll want room to hold all your must-haves in one space. “The 75-Quart DuraChill cooler offers the best-in-class can-count,” says White: “It can hold 130 12-oz cans, plus ice. No other ice chest in this size range holds as many.”
EASE OF TRANSPORTATION
Whether in 50- or 75-Quart capacities, DuraChill coolers boast road-worthy, trail-worthy and grass-worthy portability. “Durable, rugged wheels and an extended tow handle with ergonomic grip allow you to transport a fully loaded DuraChill over the most difficult surfaces,” says White. Also, side swing handles help you get a comfortable grip when lifting.
EASY ACCESS AND USE
A split-lid with cup holders makes accessing supplies easy, while conserving the chill. Finally, the stain- and odor-resistant interior liner is easy to clean and maintain, keeping the unit in perfect condition for many, many trips to come.
