Dual Action Waste Cans - DISCONTINUED is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs to be redesigned This trash can works well without a bag. The lid opens two ways which seems like a good idea. You can either quickly toss something in or opt to open the lid by hand, and the lid stays open for you. But when using a trash bag, the lid no longer swings freely or stays open. It falls off or will fight the bag to open inward. For this to work well, it either would need a specially designed a liner, a paper grocery bag, or no liner at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad design The lid on this can is totally useless. If you plan on using a bag, just throw the lid in the bag and take it out with the trash because it won't stay on the can. Rubbermaid: make it so the lid snaps on at the hinge. Or make a can that does, and not the spring top because I don't want the springs, or latch mechanism in my trash can, I just want a simple can that opens by hand and has no extra parts to break. thanks
