Rated 4 out of 5 by from 50 gal Roughneck Wheeled Trasn Can I have 2 of the Rubbermaid 50 Gal Roughneck Wheeled Trash Cans. The cans are very well made and have held up. Unfortunately, the lids are cracked in several places. Where can I find replacements lids? I would have given 5 stars in every category if the lids had held up better!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good can, weak lids I've had two of these for six years and the cans have held up great, but the lids are badly cracked. I unfortunately don't have the receipt, and apparently lids can't be purchased separately

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lid replacement I have had two of these for a number of years and they have held up well. I did have one problem with one of the lids cracking. Rubbermaid is replacing the lid at no cost because it is in the warranty period. Great precut and great service.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Delicate (broken) lid handle + the can stinks Bought in Dec 2016. Several months ago I noticed that the handle broke. The lid still snaps on, but the Snap-Fit is gone because the lip where one places one's hands to roll the can has separated. I tend to use the can for household garbage + (bagged) used cat litter. Despite multiple applications of liquid dish soap, baking soda, baby powder, coffee grounds, disinfectant spray (not all at once, of course), with the occasional garden hose rinse, the trash can reeks - and that's with the lid on. Since I'm an apartment dweller, this poses a few problems. I was very excited when I bought this trashcan 11 months ago. Now I wish I'd saved the money - it's caused me more grief than anything.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Can but Wheels do not last I have had 2 of these trash cans for about 7 years and within in the first year the standard plastic wheels just split in half making the can useless. Rubber wheels would of been much better for this can. I wish i can order replacement rubber wheels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thanks Rubbermaid I just received my replacement lid for this trash can. I've had this can for several years and it has given us great service. However, while the can is in great shape, the lid has crumbled apart. Finally, not even the duct tape can keep it together. I ordered the lid as per the Rubbermaid comment here. Just received - perfect fit and will extend the life of my can for many more years. Thanks for taking care of this issue and the customer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good trash can if wheels stayed on I had 2 of these trash cans for 2 months and have had no complaints until one of the wheels fell off - directly into the garbage truck. Rubbermaid offers no replacement parts. Purchased a generic 6" wheel and grommets to make it fit. If the wheels were held onto the shaft with a cotter pin rather than an inadequate metal cap, we could have saved ourselves $11.23 to replace 1 wheel. We will be drilling holes into the shafts and putting cotter pins in ourselves to keep our wheels from ending up in the trash trucks.
