Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Lid Design I purchased 2 of these as I always count on Rubbermaid Products. But this time was disappointment. The lid is poorly designed and came off recently in moderate wind and lost somewhere. Since lid is gone, the trash can is almost useless because open garbage stinks in my garage. Disappointment with Rubbermaid first time !!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The lid sucks! Had this trash can for a while but the lid falls off constantly like everyone else is saying. The lid is now lost after the last trash pickup and the trash is stinking up my garage. Please help! I cannot find replacement parts anywhere.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lost lid Lid missing after trash pick-up today. It comes off frequently from its hinge point. Went to Home Depot and they won't sell just the lid? How do I get a replacement?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty Destructible Had 2 of these for 5 years and they were ok...not great. Bought 2 replacements 3 weeks ago and vermin have already chewed their way into the cans. I'm pretty disappointed considering the reason I bought rubbermaid is because they're know for tough products. The label actually says virtually indestructible. If that's so, why is it a few chipmunks or squirrels can destroy them so quickly. Gonna buy another brand next time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another customer with lost lid - only used twice!! I've had this garbage can for no more than 2 weeks and at the second time of my garbage can being picked up, the lid has mysteriously disappeared. After reading the numerous complaints on this board regarding the same issue, I expect Rubbermaid to put this right. Please kindly reach out to me ASAP!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Lid Design I recently purchased this trash container at Home Depot. The lid will not stay on. Very poor design. Yesterday, after trash pickup, I came home to a can with no lid. I always counted on Rubbermaid for a quality product. Not so much with this container.
