32 Gal Animal Stopper™ Trash Can is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 88.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I bought this over a year ago. It works perfectly against varmints. I live in the country near the woods. The squirrels are not much of a problem, as I have 3 outdoor cats and an outdoor dog. oPossum and racoons are more of a pest in general, but I trap and reclocate them miles from where I livel. I would buy 5 more if I could find them in stock somewhere.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Raccoons ate through the plastic Plastic was thin enough that raccoons were able to eat a hole in it big enough that they still pull garbage out even when it’s locked. They ate one hole through the lid and top and a second hole at the bottom corner

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps raccoons from the trash One of the best trash or garbage cans made by Rubbermaid, however, it seems that Rubbermaid has stopped making it. I sincerly hope they reevaluate there thoughts on this product. It has been of great value to those of us that live in the city where critters roam.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor product for trash. Bought this a few days ago. It did not make it through the first night. Lids was unlocked this morning. Garbage shredded.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great lid Love this product, only downfall, you cannot buy the lid separately. We lost our lid during the last windstorm and now even though we still have the can, we need to replace the entire thing as lids are not sold separately.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I have now bought a second trash can as the squirrels torn apart my first one. This new one has lasted all of two days before the squirrels tore it apart again. THIS IS NOT ANIMAL PROOF
Date published: 2019-02-18
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money Within months, squirrels had chewed through the lid. What good are the "animal control" locking handles if the animals can just eat through the plastic? True animal control would mix something in the plastic to make the taste repellent to animals.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Squirrel Feeder :( Just like a previous reviewer, squirrels completely destroyed the lids on mine (see picture). Really disappointed, as this is the second time in the past year I have bought 3 of these cans. I thought it was rats that chewed them up the first time, but clearly I was mistaken. To Rubbermaid: where can I get replacement lids? I'm not forking out another $30 a can again...
