I WILL CONTINUE TO BUY AS LONG AS THEY CONTINUE TO REPLACE THE LIDS. THE BINS ARE GREAT AND LAST TEN YEARS. THE LIDS HOWEVER DO NOT

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't Get Replacement Lids I have five Roughneck 18 Gal Totes. The totes are good quality and have lasted for many years but the three older ones have no lids because the lids dry out and become brittle and crack into pieces. It would be good if the lids were available for purchase separately..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lids don't last I have been using roughneck totes for years, they are durable, stack well and with good lids they are almost impervious to the elements. But the lids do not hold up. They become brittle and crack and then no longer keep out water. I have a pile of cracked lids and a stack of totes that I can no longer use. I would be happy if I could buy replacement lids, even though the totes have a lifetime warranty, but lids do not seem to be available. So to keep using the totes I have, I have to buy new totes to get their lids.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lids are Poor: Tote itself is Good I am putting some things in storage for now and have always used these. However, the lids are terrible! They crack, buckle, whatever to just be junk after a short time, stacking or no stacking. I have about 20 containers that need lids and cannot find them anywhere. I have seen that customer service has replied to others about the warranty. I am sure mine are within the 10 year "limited" warranty. I emailed Customer Service and they told me that this is discontinued, which is obviously false because it wouldn't be on this site if it was. Hopefully someone from customer service will reply to this post and help me out since I'm 0/1 so far.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lids Lids Lids I have always had these containers and loved them because of the thickness. However, the lids leave a lot to be desired. I don't even stack the containers after the first lid cracked. Mind you the lid that cracked never had anything on top of it in the first place. I have 6 containers that need lids and cannot find them anywhere. I have seen that customer service has replied to others about the warranty. I am sure mine are within the 10 year "limited" warranty. But not sure of the process. Hopefully someone from customer service will reply to this post.
