Hard to find parts
Finding parts is too difficult. Rubbermaid pawned off my request to The Solar Group and they don't have an oval doorknob to replace the broken one.

mail box handle
The know that pulls the mailbox open with ease broke off the 1st week. I tried glueing it on, no luck
You should not charge to replace the knob since it broke right away

Mailbox-01: Pickup Truck - Zero
The crash brought us from the house to find a pickup truck accordianed against the utility pole - which took out our crepe myrtle tree and RUBBERMAID mailbox - found wedged under the truck. The mail and paper compartment were torn apart when the 4x4 post was severed from the concrete footing!
Solution: The entire unit was reassembled with a new 4x4 and concrete footing. Thank you RUBBERMAID for your great USA made product!

Rubbermaid mailbox buyers beware
I have a Rubbermaid Hamilton curbside mailbox. My mailbox is fairly well protected. It is encased in bricks. Unfortunately, the plastic does not hold up well. The hinges broke off and I lost the door to the mailbox. My neighborhood is five years old. Many of my neighbors who have Rubbermaid mailboxes have also lost the doors on their mailboxes because the hinges broke. It is impossible to find a replacement door for the mailbox. Even on the Rubbermaid website, replacement parts are not available. I would not recommend buying a Rubbermaid plastic mailbox.
