Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great idea to send leftovers home to my kids! Just bought the 4 cup soup size, first time using them. Can't seem to get the covers to thread on properly. Been working on it for a while and they are still not finding the sweet spot. Picture looks like the cover should end up flush but I can't get them to line up right. Shouldn't be this hard. Worthless if they don't seal tight enough to prevent leaks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT leak-proof So very very very disappointed in Rubbermaid. We had a bunch of these, older, that I used every day in my "bag" lunch. When it came time to replace them, I bought a couple of multi-packs, in different sizes, because I knew I'd use them. Well, the newer ones seem much thinner and, after a few uses, the edge, where the top screws on, is all brittle and filled with holes. They're fine for chicken+rice, but don't use 'em for soup. They leak all over my lunch bag. Unfortunately, Rubbermaid seems to no longer stand by their product - I don't believe there's any warranty on this product. (They used to offer GOOD, long warranties on all products, which is one reason I bought them.) Just really disappointed in a company and product I used to really like. Disclaimer - before I realized that my set of 2 cups leaked, I bought MORE of these on a very well-known site (can't name it, or Rubbermaid won't post this!) 2 days ago. I haven't opened these, yet, and am considering returning them right away. But the ones in use right now were purchased from another (different) online store (2 cup and 1.2 cup multipacks).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cracks when heated UGGGHHHH. These medium container are such a great size. But they crack when microwaved. Only for 1 minute with the lid off and now my desk is covered in leakage. Will not buy again. (its happened to 3 so far)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love them until they crack The 1.2 cup containers are the perfect size for various picnics and leftovers and, most importantly, the kids’ lunches. We pack snacks, fruit, cut veggies and cereal into these. The problem is that they crack, sometimes after just a couple of uses. I wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher, and they come out badly cracked. Other brands don’t have a comparable product, so I keep buying these, but now I’m on round 4, and it’s just ridiculous.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TakeAlong Twist and seal containers I bought a set of these a few months ago thinking what a great idea for containing small batches of food to take to work. What a bad idea! In using them for my cereal in the morning, I found they leak. Did I tighten it enough? I could not get it any tighter and the lid was square on the container. So - don't use it for anything liquid. After using it to hold nuts and bolts while building stuff, I needed one this morning for dip. I bought some mixture with guacamole and a bunch of other stuff. I figured - it does move as fast as milk and will be in the fridge at work in about 20 minutes. So - when I remove the container from the bag, the dip has migrated to the side of the container as it did not remain standing upright in my bag. I brought it out and sat it on the desk before putting what needs to in the fridge. It fell over, off of the desk and onto the office floor. You know the office floor that is carpet over cement? Well, the side that hit the floor cracked - sufficiently that some of the contents spilled out onto the floor. The rest of the contents are now exposed to whatever lived on the floor or to the air. You know what air does to guacamole? Needless to say, if I use this container again, it will be back to storing nuts and bolts!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the product Great Product, however the quality is poor. the bowls crack very easily. I have also had a few crack with the first use ! I wish they would make the bowl as sturdy as the lids!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I bought two of the 4 packs of this item to use in my classroom to make butter. The students simply shook the container that was 1/2 filled with heavy cream. Much to my surprise 4 of the 8 containers cracked in various places. While I was happy that the lids stayed on and there was no leakage from the lid. I am very disappointed in the quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cracked after freezing Just bought the four pack of the 1.2 oz size Twist & Seal containers. They were filled with soup and put in the freezer. Upon bieng frozen, they were removed and on one, the lid cracked and part of it fell off. On another the container lip cracked and fell off. On a third, both the container and lid cracked and pieces broke off. As a packaging engineer, I believe that these containers should never have been advertised as freezer safe, as they are obviously NOT. You need to use an alternative plastic and perform more testing under the conditions under which you are advertising your product. These items are a FAILURE in freezer mode!
