Rated 1 out of 5 by from LEAKS! Bought 2 Both Leak No Matter How Hard I Tighten. 16 Bucks Down The Drain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from UNCLEANABLE This is an awful product. It's impossible to clean, at least by hand. It took only a couple of times making iced tea in it to leave dark spots in places that cannot be reached. Truly disappointing, for any price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Same cleaning issues and leaking problems I have had 5 of these, 3 currently in use. They all have the same problems. Impossible to clean the handles. The tops leak. I contacted customer support THREE YEARS AGO and was told they would LOOK INTO THE LEAKING ISSUE and I could use a bottle brush on the handle. Obviously they have done nothing about the leaking and nobody in customer support has actually used a bottle brush in their life. I have solved most of my cleaning issues. I finally found a cleaning brush on eBay from China that is VERY long and can reach down inside the handle but it is a struggle. I also fill the container 1/3 full of ice and shake it to remove stains and mold/mildew every week or so.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like the pitchers, but the gaskets... I have two, but on one of them the gasket fell out (somewhere) and now I can't use it because it leaks terribly. I tried to get a replacement gasket on the website, but it says no replacement parts are available. A disappointment since there's no reason to throw away the pitcher, but if you can't get a replacement gasket it's semi-useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pitcher Leaks Badly I bought this a month ago to replace an older Rubbermaid pitcher I'd had for years. This pitcher leaks very badly, no matter how tight the lid is on. It leaks when I lightly swish a powered drink to mix it, so I started using a spoon and stirring, however, it also leaks when you pour (from the lid threads).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is for those griping about Tea stains I have 2 of these that both sit in the door of my fridge, 1 for iced tea and 1 for water. I have no issues whatsoever with the construction, the lids, etc. Yes the iced tea container gets disgusting from the tea stains. This would be true of ANY non glass container. My solution: I mix 1c of chlorine free bleach (more environmentally safe) and boil enough water to fill rest of container. I then let sit for the day while I'm at work, come home, empty and make sure to get bleach smell out, which isn't that difficult. Any bleach will work if you are a brand snob (ie; Clorox), I'm just super environmentally conscious ...if your picture is super nasty from tea stains you may have to use more bleach the initial time. I have had both containers for more than 10 years and both are still in perfect condition in regards to construction, including the lids....this has turned me into a brand snob for all my food storage needs....I LOVE RUBBERMAID!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from CANNOT CLEAN IT HUBBY BOUGHT THIS FOR ICED TEA TO TAKE TO WORK. THE FIRST TIME I CLEANED IT, I HAD TO SOAK IT IN DAWN AND KEEP SHAKING IT. FINALLY GOT IT CLEAN AFTER A FEW DAYS. THE NEXT TIME I TRIED THERE WAS A STAIN IN THE HANDLE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANYTHING IN THERE TO CLEAN IT. THE OPENING AT THE TOP IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR YOUR HAND, AND A BOTTLE BRUSH IS TOO SHORT TO REACH THE BOTTOM. NOTHING WILL REACH THE HANDLE. IT IS DISGUSTING & SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought 2 of these... Lid leaks if you don't twist it on TIGHT. Then it's fun to untwist it. I'm tossing these ones, I've owned it over a 6 months, and not really used them a lot "until" the past 2-3 months, and NOW, they are getting little dots of growth (mold), Probably will start to multiply faster as time going on, and to be honest, they probably won't hurt you healthwise or effect taste, but just looking at them is kinda like... hmmm, I wonder if I should drink that! Anyway....... These are going in the GARBAGE ... Save your money, get something with a HUGE lid, (traditional pitcher) that you can stick your hand in and CLEAN it. I suppose, if you bleached it and shook it really hard, maybe it might come out cleaner? But, it will just grow back, and your drink may taste like bleach if you don't get it all out. So... Like I said, buy a pitcher you can SCRUB out with your hand to clean it properly. I doubt think rubbermaid will refund my money, but I try to buy something that will last, maybe I need to buy a different brand of pitcher, as this made my purchase not so pleasant.
