Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible and Terrible! I wish I could give zero stars. My experience is the same as everyone here. They stain, they're stiff and too light, the "white" turns yellow and NOTHING will clean it, and they develop a weird, greasy, sticky film that won't come off. It's not from food--it's like cheap plastic that starts to decompose. Maybe this is the "Microban" material? It's gross. The old rubber mats, which I used for years (so did my mom), were perfect. Once again, a company decides to discontinue a classic product and replace it with a much cheaper, poor-quality version.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy with the Microban sink mats and divider I bought the Microban Rubbermaid sink mats and divider thinking they would be as good quality as the older ones. The newer material is a cheap plastic that can't compare with the older ones. The divider wont' stay in place and the mats stain easily and move around. The older divider was heavy rubber and stayed in place by gravity. I am so disappointed. I would gladly pay more for the heavy rubber ones. Does anyone know where I can buy the better ones?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from bad material This may be a good material for bacteria, but why does it constantly get slimy? I have been changing my water filters thinking it was the water? This material stains and no matter how hard you try to clean it, it's still says slimy/greasy looking. Not something I want to see in a kitchen where food is prepared. Please find a new material. I have these in both my main home and vacation home so I know it's NOT THE WATER!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New sink mats don't even compare to the old ones I, too, have always used Rubbermaid sink mats. Once they quit making them of rubber and went to the stiff Microban Antimicrobial Protection material, the quality was very poor. They stain easily, have small "feet" on the bottom that keep you from being able to wipe a rag across the surface without it getting caught, and they are BARELY flexible. I know why they changed: it's CHEAPER to make them the new way. It really stinks when a company changes an old standby product to something of such lesser quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from SINK MATS ITS CLEAR YOU DONT LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE, THE OLD SINK MATS WERE MUCH BETTER, AND THE SINK DIVIDERS WERE BETTER BEFORE YOU GUYS GOT CHEAP IN MAKING THEM. DIVIDERS DONT STICK LIKE THE OLD ONES AND THE MATS ALWAYS CURL AND GET STAINED, THEY ALSO GET SO HARD AND STIFF. LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE AND BRING BACK THE OLD ONES.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sink Mat #2993 keeps turning orange I just bought a new Rubbermaid Sinkmat #2993. Within two weeks it started turning orange. We have not poured anything on it to cause this. I have had this product before and it did the same thing, so this time we were extra careful as to not pour anything on it that would stain it, and it still is turning orange. Please develop a product that will not do this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where is the hole? My wife and I have used your sink mats for many years. We loved how the flap in the center covered the drain hole yet easily allowed one to lift it up to put in or take out the drain plug. Now we can only find these without the hole. What happened? We really miss this style of mat and cannot believe you discontinued them. Myself, my mother, and mother-in-law have been looking all over for these to no avail. Please bring this item back ;-( we miss it dearly!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this mat Why would you change a good product? Whatever you are using to make these newer mats is unacceptable. I always purchased you sink mats in the past...but no more. Bring back the old mats please.
