Awesome Mailbox
My mailbox got hit by a car and more damage was done to the car than the mailbox. And it still functions fine.

Door is a bad design
I bought the mailbox last year. Within 6 month the catch that holds the door closed worn away. It just small plastic tab that keeps the door closed. My mailbox never stays shut anymore. What waste of money.

Waste of money!
Can't even get the first screw in using a drill. You couldn't even make holes for the screws? I'd take it back if I could get it in the box.

THE WORST PRODUCT EVER!!!!!!!!!
I bought this product followed the instruction's to the letter, and the mail box would not slide together. I spent hours trying to get this product together.

Downfall
It is a great mailbox, except for the part where anyone can snap off the box portion and steal it. It snaps on hard, but there are no screws or bolts, etc keeping it in place to stop it from happening. Our top was stole last night.

Durable
We live on a small cul de sac, and our Rubbermaid mailbox has been hit by cars, trash trucks, service trucks, etc an average of 3 times each year. After 8 years, it's time to replace it with another identical one.

Door issues!
We have had two of these mailboxes. They are nice looking but both of them seemed to have issues with the handle on the doors. After a year or so the handles break right off of the door when pulled to open. I just checked the replacement cost for the door because we were sick of use the door "rigged" with rope, the cost is 20$ per door and shipping. I'm not thrilled about that and wish the retailers carried the replacement doors because this sounds to be a very common problem.
