Rated 5 out of 5 by from READ INSTRUCTIONS My Husband thought he would help me and took charge of the install, I IMMEDIATELY said, did you read ALL the instructions first? He said YA YA, well I kicked him out of the room and I have a BEAUTIFUL CLOSET!!!! Thank You Rubbermaid!!!! I have read many reviews and I can tell you by those, They DID NOT adhere to the instructions!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No replacement parts The basket worked fine for me until one of the brackets bent. The basket will not stay on the rails and is now sitting on my closet floor. Rubbermaid does not sell replacement parts for the sliding wire basket and in order to replace the bracket, I now have to buy a complete wire basket system.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Screeching bearings! ..after about a year my Sliding Wire Baskets (#3H96) 4out of a dozen so far... have screeching bearings and it is unbearable. Now that I have almost $2K of this system installed in our room it it regrettable if I have to change to another system. especially after all the racking drilled in the walls. Suggestions Rubbermaid? If not I cannot recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware! I installed the whole wall system and was excited about adding the baskets. I thought this feature would add flexibility. Unfortunately, the baskets do not fit with the supports that were mounted on 16 in. centers on studs. I wish I had chosen another system, but it is too late now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product with bad width I just bought the sliding shelf very excited about mounting it. Come to find out it could not fit with the supports mounted on 16 in centers on studs. Very disappointed. Product could not be used.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unclear spacing instructions ruined our day We purchased almost $1000 worth of materials for our Master Closet and spent most of the day putting up the top rail and uprights.  The clothes hanging portions were fine, but I was excited for the hanging baskets.  I watched as my construction background husband measured at least 50 times for each upright.  He used a magnetic level to be sure they were straight, and each screw was EXACTLY 22" from the next one.  When we went to hang the baskets, they would not fit.  They are too wide.  It was not until I went on to this site and read the comments that I EVER saw that the 22" were from inside to inside of each rail.  Who does that??  Measurements like this are ALWAYS from screw to screw, not inside of rail to inside of rail.  I have 6 baskets that I cannot now use.  I am very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Discontinued at Lowes and Baskets A previous reviewer mentioned that the baskets were discontinued at Lowes and the Rubbermaid responded by saying that they were still being manufactured and could be ordered at Lowes. We tried to do this and were told that Lowes has discontinued this product, this means they are no longer carrying the Home Free product. They told me they could not order the product for me and I had to find it from a store that had it in current stock. So this could be a big problem if you just invested money in this system (as I did!) Also many people expressed dissatisfaction with the baskets. We had similar problems, but it appears that the hold that the screw should go through to hold the frame to the railing is off by about a half a hole. We had to return a basket because of this, we eventually found one that worked. But were lucky since Lowes is no longer carrying the baskets. All and all it is a nice system
