Sliding Wire Basket is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great if... Works great if you build your entire closet system around it. The basket is 23.5" wide. That means it fits between two uprights that are 24" apart. Unfortunately nothing else that Rubbermaid sells is this width. Whether you use the "Classic Closet Kit", the "Deluxe Closet Kit", or the "homefree SERIES Adjustable Closet System"; all rails are set at 22" inches apart. Luckily I bought these first and then setup the rest of the closet around them. Link to Rubbermaid Installation Instructions. http://www.rubbermaid.com/en-US/assembly-instructions Good Luck everyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sliding Wire Basket Sorry to disagree with you Rubbermaid, but no where on the instruction sheet included with the 3J05 sliding basket does it state anywhere on it that the brackets need to be 22" apart from inside to inside vertical bracket. Maybe you need to rewrite your instructions to include that fact. Also it does not state anywhere how wide the brackets need to be at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very functional. I just bought two of these and I love the addition to my pantry. My only concern is there is no drawer stopper so, storing heavy items is not something I would recommend. I put it up high as it is a safety hazard for young children (and klutzy people like myself.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use, Versatile and Reaonably Priced We have used these baskets for more than 5 years in our hall closet for mittens and hats. They have withstood the abuse of children and too much stuff jammed into them. Our closet is only 27 inches deep with double sliding doors, so we had to be careful where we placed the vertical brackets. We use the rubbermaid closet system in all of the closets. With a little pre-planning, this system was easy to install and has withstood the test of time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from beware of closet depth \ door opening! my closet is a fairly typical reach-in: almost 7' wide x 2' deep. The door opening is a typical 5', with sliding mirror doors. IF YOU'RE CLOSET SOUNDS SIMILAR, DO NOT BUY THIS ADD-ON!!! If you use this closet system, you know the uprights are 22" apart. In a 7' closet, that amounts to 3 "sections" (i.e., you could fit 3 of these basket drawers across, if you wanted to). Actually, you CAN'T, and here's why: You can't put them in the middle, because the sliding mirror doors cover the middle! Here's the kicker... You can't put them of the left or right, because at 18" deep, you can get it only 6" open before it bonks the door frame! Again, do not buy if you're closet is less than 36" deep

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Installation Directions It's unbelievable to me that no installation directions are included with this item and there are no directions on the web site. The distance between rails does not specify from inside to inside. I had to find that in the commonly asked questions. Does that tell you anything, Rubbermaid?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy and works perfectly! I bought the fast track system a week ago and installed 5 baskets myself with absolutely no problem.  The beauty of this system is that everything is adjustable.  Why would anyone permanently attach the uprights before making sure their accessories would attach properly?  I had no problems installing this system and the baskets work perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Addition I bought this basket as an add-on to a deluxe Configurations kit. Directions were a bit confusing, since you have to put the screws not quite at the end of the opening. I first put them at the end, but had to loosen and adjust so the bracket could connect to wall hanger. One thing I do not love about the basket is that it sticks out a bit more than the shelves which I have installed beneath it. However, I am using it to store scarves and so far I love how having them in the basket makes it easy to see my collection!
