Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing Instructions are terrible and the pre-drilled holes were off the edge of the ply wood. I'll never buy one of these extensions again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sliders don't work. Don't waste your money. I've bought plenty of products from Rubbermaid before and have never had an issue, but after buying two of these from a local Lowes, one worked fine but the other shelf set was not labeled like the instructions said they were and one of the drawer rollers did not work, and the drawers would not open and close. I am highly disappointed in this product and would not recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk The quality is poor, premanufactored parts don't line up, sides tops and bottoms are not flush. Instructions are extremely vague, does not allow space for pull out drawer hardware and wall mounts to line up according to the 22" space between supports. Needless to say my wall Is destroyed from constantly trying to get everything to line up

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Poor Quality This double drawer option is a great idea, but the quality is terrible. The pre-drilled pilot holes for assembly didn't line up, and some of them were so poorly done, the screw had nothing to attach to. My husband had to drill new pilot holes in the correct spot, and screw in the screws to assemble the unit. After all that effort, the top drawer continually goes off alignment, do to the track. Overall, the closet system is good, and most of the other optional pieces are too, except this drawer set, and the cubes are very small also. They do look nice, just wish Rubbermaid took more pride in their final product. Disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality, poor assembly instructions The assembly instructions were not helpful for assembling the drawer slides and I couldn't find any instructions on the website for the drawers. The pre-drilled holes for the drawer bottoms were not in the right place, in fact they were off the edge and only half there! I will be returning this to Lowes and reconfiguring my closet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from very poor construction My wife and I saw the HomeFree system and when we found that they had the drawer cube, we thought that it would be excellent for our daughters' closets, and provide a great solution. We specifically needed a system that provided shelves and wanted to keep their chest of drawers off the floor, so we could put other items underneath. I bought 4 drawer cubes (I had to go to two Lowes locations to get all 4) for $200, and then went home and installed the HomeFree shelving systems (which worked great!). However, I was shocked when I opened the drawer cube boxes and started assembling them. I preface the issues below by saying I am very comfortable assembling furniture since my work takes us to new locations and countries every year or two, and it's always been easier to sell off most/all of our furniture before each move. Thus, I have assembled a few dozen pieces of furniture (mostly Ikea) over the past decade. Here is the list of issues I ran into. First, one of the drawers was dented and damaged. I wasn't too concered about this, but the drawer ended up not fitting well into the cube. Second, the drywall anchors are not properly sized with the screws, so the screws wouldn't enter the anchor without first widening the anchor with a 3/16 drill bit. Third, one of the boxes had the incorrect wood pieces (specifically, the two drawers had 4 left side pieces and 0 right sides... should be 2 of each). Fourth, two of the drawer boxes could not be assembled at all because their pre-drilled holes were not aligned correctly (and actually had breached the side of the wood, so they would fall apart if I tried to assemble the drawers... see the attached photo). Anyway, so out of 4 drawer boxes purchased, only 1 could actually be assembled into a working set of drawers for my daughters' closets. Unfortunately we're stuck now with the HomeFree shelves in their closets, which are of less use to us without drawers. I have to say I'm shocked that Rubbermaid would put their name on these items of such poor quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Assembly Nightmare! I bought the drawer cubes as an addition to my Homefree series and i'm so disappointed. The assembly instructions (if you can even call them that) are awful and just show pictures of how to put it together. I can't find verbal instructions anywhere and it's nearly impossible to figure out which screws are for what parts which has caused damaged to my drawer. It's really a shame because the drawers look to nice in phot0. I'm very disappointed and displeased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient and well built... I have bought and installed this product to a home-kit I already purchased. It was a great addition to it all. It is rather evident that this drawer is not made to be used as a full dresser, and cannot withold very heavy items. But what home-kit would unless it's custom built. All in all, the appearance is as it is advertised, no surprise there, durability-wise, it has stood my everyday use for over 2 years, contrary to some IKEA elements I have owned in the past. It still looks like I installed it yesterday and, to my surprise with other comments previously posted, a drawer is a drawer, how hard can it be to use? In addition, I have followed the complete instructions to the entire kit and additions, and it was very, very easy to do. To my husband eyes, he was sceptic as to when I would ask for his help (as always), but I didn't. Now, he wants me to do his. Hein, what about that?
