Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why is this wonderful product no longer made? I bought my blue 4202 quite a long time ago at my local hardware store on the recommendation of a coworker in the maintenance department. It is scuffed, faded, and full of paint drippings, and has a muffler-taped rear support bar. But it is like a trusted reliable friend to me. I am writing this review (something I never do) after a fruitless online search for a replacement (or two). I echo the comments of those who also chose to reiview this extinct product. The design is stable, broad, sturdy. I reach for it all the time. Originally I balked at the price (what?? It’s just a piece of plastic!). Boy, was I wrong. What do I use it for? Painting, reaching high shelves, and yes, I use it outside for gardening, repair, hanging Christmas lights. It has followed me through bad knees to knee replacements. I use it to get up and down off the floor for cleaning, vacuuming under the bed, scrubbing. I sit on it when I scoop the litter box, put air in my car and tractor tires. I used it last night while I installed a new toilet seat. You might think it’s just us seniors who want this back until you see the review from the young mother. I don’t think there would be a safer stool for a toddler. And it was used in many commercial applications. I heard about it when I was working in a school district.. True, it doesn’t fold and storage may be an issue - but not after you have used it for a while. At that point you don’t care. I guess I am not going to make a sign and march up and down in front of my hardware store in protest, but I don’t think whatever accounting brain said to delete this product ever used it. I think perhaps marketing just didn’t do it’s job. It’s a medical device, a janitorial product, a child safety product. I may try out it’s sister model, version 3.0. It looks like Amazon still has a few left even though you’re not making THAT anymore either. For now I guess I will settle for gorilla taping that support bar that has worked it’s way loose from my original repair. I have always had a great deal of respect for Rubbermaid products. This has been my favorite one by far. Kudos to the engineers who designed it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this stool! First of all I love that it holds up to 300 lbs (I wish I didn't have to love it for that reason, lol) And second, I love the light color because YOU CAN SEE IF A BUG/SPIDER is on it. I already have one that I got a couple months ago. Now I am going to order a second one so that I can have one upstairs and in the basement. I may have to order one for my husband's shop. Sometimes it is not convenient to lug a step ladder around. I'll get this bisque colored one for the shop as well. Why? BECAUSE OF SPIDERS! In summary, this stool is light weight but sturdy (holds up my sturdy body), easier to see in the dark, and did I mention that you can see if there is a spider or bug on it?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love this stool We have had our two step stool for a long time, and we use it for everything. Our beagle, who is 11 now has used one his whole life to get on and off our bed. We have been looking for another one, but have not been able to find the two step model. I am so happy I finally thought of visiting your website. Never stop making this stool, please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My most used baby product Everyone with a baby wants one of these. Turn the water in the sink on a trickle, add plastic cups, and your baby will lean forward with his/her arms in the sink while you are in the kitchen. Add a placemat and you have a table and chair. It is light enough for your baby to carry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This is a great product and one of the most versatile 2 step stool. Not only great for the Kitchen, but can be used for painting your rooms and evern triming bushes. My only problem is that they are getting hard to find anywhere. You had better buy two befor they disappear.
