Rated 2 out of 5 by from worst mop I have ever purchased I bought this mop, as many others did thinking when I saw the name brand Rubbermaid it would be a great buy. I have been using a wring mop by a different company for several years however the pole rusted out so I decided to buy something different. I am very disappointed in this mop. I wish I had saved my receipt so that I could take it back. I thought since it was RUbbermaid that I would be pleased with it. Not only do I dislike the design itself, it is not easy to use and it does a terirble job mopping. My floor has strreaks everywhere. I would not buy this mop again if it were the last one on Earth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wouldn’t purchase again. As many reviews state, the mop head detached from the wringing mechanism. This has been an issue with every brand of self wringing mop I’ve purchased. From here on out I think I’ll be using a bucket with a wringer built in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from the mop strings get caught on the C ring i bought this a few weeks ago from "W". i thought it would be good due to the name brand . i use it a few times and then the problems start. the mop head strands start getting wrapped around the C ring and the mop does not go to the full up right position for ringing. so that means you have to get your hands dirty to dig through the mop to find the C ring, pull it out to let the mop stands go and re put the C ring back on. so every time i go to use it , i have to pull the ring out every time i want to ring it. now it stops ringing properly , i twist it and then it just falls down off the clicking system . this mop has caused arguments because it don't work proper, and i never want to be wrong to my husband, I'm suppose to always be right and buy the best quality items . you should never have to tell your husband your wrong and hes right

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not like they used to make them... I am SO disappointed in this mop. When our 10 year old Rubbermaid Twisting mop bit the dust a couple of months ago I did not hesitate for one second to replace it with the same mop. Hey, the last one lasted at least 10 years by replacing the mop head as needed, clearly this was an amazing product and one that was used multiple times a week. Well all I can say now is they sure aren't making them like they used to. The first replacement mop lasted a couple of weeks. At first it stopped locking back up straight (extended) after use so it could dry out properly then a week or so later the leaver broke for releasing the twist... I chalked it up to a defective mop and not having a receipt I just tossed it and went out and bought another one - hey, it's Rubbermaid, what are the chances of it happening again? It happened again. I've owned the 3rd mop now for a few weeks and now it too is no longer locking in the up position so the mop head can dry out properly to keep from stinking. Once again, no receipt to return and get my money back... Off to shop for a quality mop that will last for more than a few weeks...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbermaid string mop with ringer I bought the string mop thinking Rubbermaid is a pretty good brand. Very disappointed with the features of the mop as well as the performance. The mop ringing system won’t work it spins on the handle. The mopping action of the is terrible, leaves streaks and doesn’t clean very well. I wouldn’t buy another one if it was the last mop on earth.
