18" Multi Surface Push Broom is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Handle not durable Used this broom outdoors for sweeping drive and walkways - the usual - and after less than 2 years of use, the handle snapped near the base while sweeping the walk. The bristles are still in good shape; the long handle was nice for a tall person (me); and the swivel hook made hanging it in the closet easy. Without a handle, though, not much use. Extremely disappointed at the poor quality handle for a Rubbermaid product. The CS rep said there is no replacement handle available and that a customer has to purchase a whole new broom. Will take it to my hardware store and see about replacing with a wooden handle, and the next purchase will be a different brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from piece of junk Bought this broom to sweep the garage. handle broke second use. don't waste your money. Buy a shop broom with a wood handle. The aluminum is cheap and not up to the task.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plastic block does indeed break! I've had this broom for years. It's always worked well. But in the cold weather the other day the plastic block just snapped in two. The plastic is relatively thin where the handle screws into the block. Definitely a weak spot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weakness on handle where it screws into the broom. I bought three of these brooms two months ago at Walmart. Two of them cracked right at the base where it screws into the broom. One snapped completely off. Disappointed more than upset. Handle is great just wish there was a stronger replacement part available? Even just a replacement part.
