FastTrack® Rails is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 82.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from This could be made better I installed in shed. 16" spacing between 2x4s rail. Product does not address multiple rail use. Needs a tie together between rails part. I bought some cheap U-bolts and used the flat piece with some cheap bolt hardware to address this. No the rails are all even. 90 corner piece would be nice. Shorts rails would be nice too. The black cover slides on the steel no way to lock its position once installed. The variety of mount is limited compared to other makers. LIked the fact it had a steel under beam. Cost to much for what it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 15 Years and Still Going Strong I have the 48" wide wire shelves (x 3), utility hooks, the wheel barrow holder, and a couple other pieces. They've handled everything we've thrown at it for over 15 years. Now I'm looking to add more to hold my Jeep doors. Top quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy up and very sturdy. I have put up 5 of the rails in my garage and basement. Mine are mounted on block walls. Mark, drill and install with anchors. Planning to purchase more soon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good , but major flaw As a lot of other reviews had said, they needed to make it 49 inches, with the last holes 48 inches apart. I have 16 inch studs and it will not work in all studs. If using it as a rail only with low weight I wouldnt have a problem using an anchor for the last one, but I was using it to hold storage racks which would have made every hole on the verical rail need to be off the stud as well. Seems like something so basic would be obvious...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost great Good quality and looks great. Great selection of accessories (hooks & such). The glaring defect is no endcaps - which makes an otherwise good-looking product look half finished. This then allows (as you hang/remove items) the black cover to slide along the rail, exposing the rail, further making it look half-finished. So close to be amazing...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product... Could be better I installed fasttrack system in my garage. It looks so much better than assorted hooks the previous homeowner had. System is sturdy and strong. Improvements: I wish the holes on the rails were slotted, similar to how the TV mounts have. The slotted or oblong holes are much more forgiving when the studs are not exactly 16" apart. I drilled a couple of screws at an angle because the hole on the rail was completely off the center of the stud. Fasttrack could also save some aluminum by making the holes slotted. As other users have pointed out, there is no way 48" rail could hit 4 studs. First and last holes are 1/2" from the ends. So the distance between first and last holes is 47". What was Rubbermaid thinking? It would have been great if hardware pack included some linking part so that rails that adjoining each other could somehow be tied together for additional strength

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile and easy to install I have put up to 84 inch racks. 4 bikes hang on the higher one (road bikes) while the lower one has bike tires, extension cords, etc. Some suggestions: as noted, it would be great if the cover could be fixed so it doesn't slide, vertical ski rack mount would be great, and smaller lengths (36") for limited spaces. I never bothered buying the hardware and used some 12 X 2 wood screws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great system! I bought an 84" two weeks ago. The install was simple and easy to do. I know some people have issues with hardware but I didn't. I'm going to purchase another one to hang additional items. Looks great!
